With the development of "x-omics" data and new sequencing techniques, Biology has entered into the "Big Data" era, with the important challenge to be able to analyze in an integrated way heterogenous and large sets of data.

Factorial analyses, aimed at exploring and graphical visualisation, is based on simple geometric principles. In recent years their strenfths have been unveiled. They provide a large variety of analyses, allowing to integrate and visualize complex data, with all the while remaining computationally efficient.
