High-quality presentations for the 2026 SAPS Master 2 Students' Day

Each year, SAPS departments work together to offer internship topics related to the four major research areas in Animal Sciences at SAPS:

• Research Area 1: Functional organization and regulation of genome expression.
• Research Area 2: Computational biology and modeling of complex biological systems.
• Research Area 3: Livestock systems and healthy, sustainable nutrition.
• Research Area 4: Interactions between organisms, ecosystems, and the environment

These opportunities are publicized through various well-established channels and are very popular among students.

SAPS research teams are deeply involved in teaching and training, whether through end-of-program internships for master’s students, engineering or veterinary programs, or continuing education initiatives.

For this 11th edition, participants were treated to a very rich program featuring 32 oral presentations on research topics conducted in collaboration with teams from the SAPS units. This event also serves to highlight the work carried out by future scientists. Students also benefit from constructive discussions to help them prepare for their upcoming thesis defenses in June.

This SAPS event demonstrates the organization’s dynamism and the commitment of its research units to teaching and academic training, with the aim of strengthening ties and nurturing the talent of tomorrow’s young researchers.
