Conférence SAPS invité : Larry Chamley

Larry is currently the Head of Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Auckland (New Zealand) and the past Vice President of the American Society for Reproductive Immunology. He is Editor of the journal Trophoblast Research and Associate Editor of Reproduction. Larry's research team have a major focus on the role of placental extracellular vesicles in causing the acute and long-term changes to the maternal cardiovascular system seen during and after preeclampsia. They also study the role of placental extracellular vesicles in causing the physiologic adaptations of the maternal cardiovascular system to normal pregnancy. They also work on the beneficial effects of extracellular vesicles from mesenchymal stem cells on equine reproductive performance.
